무화[無化]의 개념을 가지고 있는 이번 프로젝트는 "비움"에 초점을 두고 있다.

무화[無化]의 사전적 의미로는 "없어지게 하다"
철학적 의미로는 "무<(無):Nihilation>"를 향한 운동성을 가진 작용으로 "무(無)의 본질적인 기능"을 뜻한다.

[백:白]을 통해 한옥 고유의 톤과 디테일을 지워가는 동시에 재질이 가지고 있는 특성을 살려 무화[無化]의 과정을 표현하고자 한다.

The concept of "muhwa" [無化] in this project focuses on "emptiness" or "void."

The dictionary definition of "muhwa" [無化] is "to make disappear." Philosophically, it signifies the essential function of "nihilation (無)," characterized by the dynamic movement towards "nothingness."

Through [백:白], we aim to express the process of muhwa [無化], preserving the characteristics inherent in the material while gradually erasing the unique tone and details of Hanok.
